Here are some easy ways to save energy:

  • Turn off lights, TVs, computers, and unplug chargers and unused appliances.
  • Close blinds, shades and draperies to keep the sun's heat out.
  • Use fans to help air conditioners cool more efficiently. 
  • Close vents in unused rooms, and close the doors.
  • Delay washing and drying laundry or dishes until late in the day and wait until load is full.
  • Unplug the extra refrigerator in your garage.
