All currently effective BPU rules are now available from the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law (OAL) and Lexis/Nexis at this link: http://www.lexisnexis.com/njoal.

BPU is granted its authority by N.J.S.A. 48:1 et seq. These statutes may be accessed at the Rutgers Law Library website. This website's statutory database is updated daily by the Law Library of the Rutgers School of Law - Newark.

The Rutgers Law Library website's rules database is updated by LexisNexis concurrently with the publication of the printed updates to the New Jersey Administrative Code. Updates are published two weeks after publication of the New Jersey Register issue containing the rule changes.
